I must say, as much as I enjoyed reading what you had to say, I couldnt help but lose focus after a while. It is as if you had a fantastic grasp on the subject matter, but you forgot to include your readers. Perhaps you should think about this from far more than one angle. Or maybe you shouldnt generalize so considerably. Its better if you think about what others may have to say instead of just going for a gut reaction to the subject. Think about adjusting your own belief process and giving others who may read this the benefit of the doubt.

Even with that strong “subtext of suspicion” you note, it’s definitely a story that we all really need to understand. US administrations – Republican or Democrat – have been practicing a revolving door with Wall Street for decades now, and guess what? The taxpayer is not the beneficiary. I was especially interested in the picture of collusion Ferguson painted around academic economists’ “consulting.” Recommended follow-on reading: Escaping the Matrix, by Richard Moore.

Well, they put plastic in baby formula to make it appear more nourishing, after all. So the fake rice story might be untrue, but it's not difficult to believe. There are people in this world who will do anything to make money.

The video is horrific. Can’t watch it all. I guess that’s the point, though. I join you as a meat eater but increasingly less so as I see the price paid by the animals, and people, who provide cheap product.

The conclusion is inevitably becoming more clear.

Yeah, you’re right, that sounded quite pompous :-) I’ve taken it out.

I think that tracking system already exists, and we just have to look for what we want to see, and it will appear.

Met you last night at the 40′s-50′s discussion group. You gave me your card and suggested I check out your website. So here I be. I read regularly the “sacred verses” in the Dhammapada.In line with your penultimate sentence above, I have long felt the need to learn to meditate so I’ll try and join you this evening at the Centre.
